Room was in the back of the building. Too much noise at nights. I coukd not get qualify sleep. Also, the restaurant service needs significant improvements. Used tables stay unclean.

Reception was very poor. Rooms were avaliable but we could not check in until 5. Receptionist was unfriendly. Rooms, especially bathroom, need thorough cleaning. You will see mold and mildew and the vent is a mess. We tried to watch the television but the reception was very bad and we couldn't watch it. Besides breakfast, we would recommend eating elsewhere. The 2nd floor patio was pleasant. It is walkable to the ferry but there are nicer options.

This convenient hotel is right on a main boulevard and allows for easy transit around the island, whether by rental car or in a safari. That proximity does, however, mean that you'll hear the road noise, especially of the hot-rodders. The property is still in recovery from Hurricanes Irma & Maria and are also doing some renovation so a few things may be missing from the room like the iron, board, clock or telephone. the staff are responsive when you alert them to issues. Breakfast in the on-property restaurant was delicious but the staffing has been impacted by recent US immigration drama; the remaining staff do their best and are of good humor, despite the increase in their workload. There is a grocery within easy walking distance as well as some local food trucks and small restaurants in the area. The view from the bay-side rooms is unbeatable!

Check in was 90 minutes late due to short staffing. The young lady at the front desk tried her best and very helpful. Right across the street from the ferry so I was able to go Island hopping easily. Security always helped with finding car services into town. I had an ocean view room, which was very nice. Not a sit at balcony but overlook was beautiful. I didn’t eat at the restaurant. I was out every day as the location was convenient.

The property was in poor condition, with leaking pipes, crumbling exterior walls, rusted handrails and general filth. The staff was not willing to work with us as when we arrived our run was not ready for two hours after check in time they provided.

I liked that it seemed safe & facing the side of the building actually was pretty quiet. One of the other guests mentioned that outside facing the ocean unfortunately there was construction going on at 9pm repaving the main road, so I guess it was a blessing not facing that way. A lot of the amenities seem to be closed or under construction. I didn't ask if it had to do with the hurricane, but that could have definitely been a factor. I think this place has a relatively good location with all the shops & a grocery store close by. That's really the best part about it. Pool was open. We didn't drink the water got food & drink from Moe's mart a couple doors down. People are friendly, but in a frank kind of way so it's not the forced friendly you probably get at resorts. Overall the place was pretty clean although, I think they have a shortage of white towels since we had to ask twice, not too big of a deal, bed was firm. You could tell it was a 3 star hotel based on the room & food quality.
