Room was in the first floor and it had a king size bed. Room was pretty clean but the lobby smelled very moldy. Complementary tiny muffin breakfast is just sad. And they only accept check-in until 2am for some reason. Door lock looks clumsy but we were safe. Has water/beverage vending machine.
I asked the front desk to clean the room while we were gone, but they didn’t. So I went to the front desk and asked for shampoo&towels. The dude who was speaking in his own language on the phone for hours each night, looked into some drawers with 3-second minimal effort, and then asked me, “uhh, can you come back tomorrow morning?”
I got FURIOUS because of the moldy smell in the lobby, his inattentiveness for the past two days, and the nonsense he told me because I do NOT skip a night without taking a shower. Keeping myself clean matters A LOT. And besides, who in the RIGHT MIND that works at the front desk of a hotel or Inn says THAT??? So I responded in an irritated elevated tone, “NO!!!”
And guess what? He gave me multiple shampoos right away. Why did he even ask me to wait until the next morning? Trying to make me sleep filthy?? It was a nice discounted option and the parking lot seemed ok although there were weed-smoking people right next to my car. They were smoking weed for like 3 hours— when we arrived, and when we came back out in 3 hours to get something from the car. I didn’t like how they were smoking right next to my car so we parked in a different spot the next day.
