Need remodeling badly

The room size was great. The service was great. Breakfast good. Location great, close to zoo and downtown Omaha.

Air conditioner did not work in two rooms. Also luggage trolly wheel were flat and barings stripped. Night manager was excellent. She should get a big raise!

The hotel was clean. Lobby and hallways were very hot. Pool was closed. Typical hotel breakfast.

Very bad experience. We checked in at 11:30 pm only to find to men in our room when we walked in. It took another 30 min to be assigned a room. They gave us a suite which would seem like a great thing but there were four of us and our 2 teenage daughters had to share the pull out couch. Needless to say the girls were pretty sore and tired for their basketball tourney. In the morning we were told they “hoped” we could stay in the same room. Then they said they wouldn’t be able to clean it. When we complained they finally said they would try. We asked to talk to the manager and were told that Lori wasn’t in but would contact us. That was Saturday. We asked for a Lori again on Sunday and gave her our cell biker and never heard back. Monday I was told that the manager on duty was on a conference call and would get back to me. He did not. Tuesday I finally talked to a front desk person who was very nice. I explained the situation and she said she would talk to the manager and call back. I never spoke to a manager and the front desk person called to tell me they would give us $50 back on our $170 room. I said we shouldn’t have to pay for our first night’s stay because of what happened and since they wouldn’t have booked the room after midnight anyway. She said $50 was the best they could do. Lori or any other manager never called us back. The rooms were old and dirty. I will never stay there.
