My fiancé and I were initially having a wonderful time at Finest Resort. The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was great, and the activities were well-planned. We were excited to celebrate our anniversary and truly thought we had picked the perfect place.
Unfortunately, our experience took a turn when we found a roach in our room. The staff assured us they would handle the issue and, as a gesture of goodwill, offered us a free 25-minute massage and an anniversary cake. They also told us no other rooms were available at the time.
But that same night, when we returned to our “exterminated” room, we were horrified to find roaches crawling from under the fridge and around the coffee machine. It was not just one—it was a full infestation.
We demanded a room change and were finally moved—but downgraded to a room on the family side of the resort, which was not what we paid for or expected for a romantic anniversary getaway. To make matters worse, the staff continuously claimed no manager was on-site to speak with us and simply sent us home with an email address to file a complaint.
My anniversary was completely ruined. I expected better from a resort of this caliber and am deeply disappointed with how the situation was handled. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves how they address guest concerns in the future.
