The hotel was adorable and 100% my vibe, but I love the mid-century authentic feel. However, not everyone is on board with a real 1950's/1960's vintage building and what it comes with. As an example, being in the apartment industry, I know that there may be cracks around the door due to the building settling and that they put a brand new door on the room, but a lot of people don't understand that. My co-workers who have never been in a real vintage building did not understand why they had cracks around the door. Also, I was charged for a pool view, and I was "by" the pool, however I could not see the pool as my view was blocked by the pool pump building. Again, I was fine with it because I wasn't there on vacation, but I would accurately assign views to each room for those who are staying for enjoyment and paying a higher rate for premium. Overall, MY stay was enjoyable, but my co-workers did not have an enjoyable stay.
