From the irascible front desk manager who fails to appreciate that guests will value their stay based on how they are treated, to the gossipy Bahamian receptionist who over shares her tall-tales about her life ad nauseam, to the obnoxious Jamaican cleaner who doesn't comprehend how to keep a respectful distance from a paying guest, to the hostile Haitian housekeepers who clean the room (even basic service like changing the sheets & replenishing the towels) only IF they feel like it, and etc. I found this IHG property to be sorely lacking in courtesy, decency & professionalism - the very basics required for the hospitality industry.
The property's only saving grace is it's location - which can be augmented by a few very necessary updates/upgrades to the facility's 'infrastructure' - like the elevators, both of which broke down on the same day and cost me an additional four (4) days' stay there, since it was impossible for me to take my bags down four flights of stairs ...
SUCH a deal!
