This place is a treasure in Palm Springs!

It was beautiful, clean, and romantic. The staff was helpful and courteous. It feels remote but you are just around the corner from downtown Palm Springs and all the great restaurants.

Directions to enter were not sent to me right away after I preregistered. I had to call to get checkin instructions. Plus, the unit number on the door was not visible, so finding the room was stressful.

Nothing BelleVue about this so-called Oasis

Don't know what is so boutique about this place. My rental unit, suite w/ additional room. The additional room was nothing more than an alcove with what was basically a futon in it. To be considered a room, I'm pretty sure that there has to be a door or at the very least some kind of separation from the rest of the "suite". Not in this case. In fact the microwave and refrigerator in the unit were in the alcove/room. On checkout day, as to not feel rushed, i inquired about a late check-out, which they were more than happy to accommodate, to the tune of $25 (though the charge to my card was $28 and change) for an additional 2 hours. Then with 20 minutes left before my additional paid time was up, a knock on the door from a staff member inquiring as to whether or not i was checking out. How was that not clear to them when i had just called front desk and paid for a "late checkout" 2 hours earlier. A few hours after leaving i notice a charge on my bank statement from them for additional $30. When i called to inquire they stated it was due to damage in the room. They said they left me a message about it in which they said that the linens had excessive blood stains. Neither my guest nor i have had any blood loss, so I'm not sure where this so-called excessive blood materialized from, nor why they seem to think a couple low thread count sheets might cost $30. Another unsolved mystery: where did they leave this message, cause it was most definitely not in my email or voicemail.

Other guests left a mess around the pool (Beer cans, drink tumblers, towels) and it wasn’t straightened up for days. Otherwise it was a delightful stay.
