Unsafe, ridiculous and needs addressed.

There was a fight at the pool, became an issue of color because there was a colored guy defending a white girl to a large colored family. The ridiculous large colored lady and her family was screaming and harassing the front desk worker, in front of all the people checking in and bringing in their luggage. Parents, kids and teenagers were scared and in the middle of what can be described as a riot by the colored family. The police came and not sure of the outcome thus far, though not likely the appropriate removal of this family that consumed the pool area as though they owned the hotel.

Almost a luxury hotel for the cost of budget.

For a budget motel this place was really nice. Rooms were clean and updated. Breakfast was standard hotel "make your own waffles" with eggs and sausage limks. Hot tub was not blazing hot but adequate and the whole pool area immaculately clean. Room service was nice and I left a tip. Bed was a little on the firm side but sheets and blankets were super soft. Towels were super fluffy. This place was in an area that made it super easy to live for a week for work. Starbucks, Dominos, Portillos and Target right there. There is even a mens place with a barber to get a straight razor hot towel shave. I really wanted to try the mexican cantina next door but didnt get a chance. And every other little shop was there next to target. Even the Tissues and TP were premium it had direct tv 40 inch, with mobie channels. Honestly if the beds were thicker pillowtops and the TV's were a little bigger, you would mistake this place for a $150 a night Marriott. They have "Suites" that have couches but same size televisions. My suggestion is premium pillowtop beds and 60 inch TV's and I would have paid the extra to be in those rooms.

Short stay one night

Never going back

I wasn't expecting 5 star accommodations but it could have been better. The online photos are dated because the furniture is showing wear and tear. My room cleanliness lacked attention to detail; on my final night I found stray hairs on the bathroom floor and the side of the toilet had old vomit; the latter I didn't see until I was checking out. Every time I left foe the day and returned to my room my key card wouldn't work. On my final night after 3 attempts to recode the card, I was told that the door lock needed repair and that if I needed to leave my room to call the front desk to let me back into my room, which would have basically left me stuck in my room without assistance to het back in. Lastly 2 men got into a verbal altercation in the hallway at midnight. When I called the front desk to report this and shared that I didn't feel safe, the front desk attendant sounded like he was too scared to come and address the issue. Another guest intervened after sharing that they were disrupting her sleep and she had to go to work in the morning, then the men stopped arguing. I don't think that the front desk attendant ever came upstairs to speak with those guests. I will never stay here again.

Clean, reasonable price, and friendly staff

I have been coming up to Springfield for the last 2 weeks for work. The staff here is very nice. The rooms were very clean. Very safe area, Walmart and target less than 100 yards away. I will continue staying here when I travel for work.
