Table was filthy, dead bugs on ceiling, sticky floor and overall left us dirtier after we took showers than we felt before we took showers. Everything was dirty that we touched. My wife had to wipe down everything!

Hyggelig ansatt som sjekket oss inn. Rene rom, og til prisen er dette veldig bra. Ikke forvent luksus, men helt ok rom. Nærme fergene ut til Mackinac. Flere fine restauranter og bryggerier i nærheten.

Not what we expected

The computers were not working correctly. They double billed me. The hotel is well used and shows it. Need some serous maintenance and upgrades.floor is soft and spongy, holes in walls. Granola bars and water for continental breakfast. Room was clean and staff friendly. Its a bed and shower but not much more.

Mediocre hotel

The room was mediocre at best. It was not really clean. It was dusted down, clean bed sheets, and clean towels. The floor in room and bathroom weren't that clean. I could still feel a grittiness on the floor possibly from sand, which is understandable because it is beachfront. The hot tub in the room worked so so. The jets weren't very powerful but it was a big tub at the least. The balcony was filled with spider webs and spiders, it looked as if they never dust the webs off. Overall we only went there to sleep and spend time on the balcony watching the lake and the nightfall. It is a good location if you pick the beachfront room, the large price is due to the view and hot tub. I'm not sure that was worth it but live and learn.

The lady at the desk was great, but the room had a strange smell, wasn't the cleanest and was small. The beach access was good and the location was convenient to the shops and restaurants.

The room was very bad. There was mosquitoes and spiders on the wall. The bathroom door was broken can’t lock it. The positive thing about the hotel was the reception lady was very nice, polite, and professional. If I go back probably won’t stay there. Would be different hotel.

The only thing good was the water veiw and the tv channels, it was dirty, cobwebs and bugs on the ceiling, floor was dusty and sand everywhere, cualking around the tub was dirty and moldy, wall paper was coming off in several places, we were booked for four nights but could only take the filth for three, would have been nice if they offered a refund for the uncleanliness

Terrible. Wanted to leave but no refund offered

Rooms are very deteriorated, bugs, smelled, tv didn’t work, woke in the morning to water on the floor (rained overnight and came in through patio doors), cobwebs hanging from ceiling in corners, and light fixture must have a short as it flickered off and on. After checking in and saw the first room they wanted to give us I asked for a refund and they refused. They gave us a different room which wasn't much better except it didn’t smell as bad. I actually talked to the Manager and he was rude and condescending. Said the first room has been newly renovated. Absolute lie. Pictures dont really show how dirty it was.

The tv didn’t work, the decks needed to be cleaned and repaired. The lady at the front desk was specific on where the water park we could use was and that we wouldn’t be able to use it on check out day. Our door didn’t latch, we had to pull it hard to get it to latch. The pool area needs to be updated, we had a couple kids that tripped and got scrapped on the floor walking around the pool.

Couples relaxation

Not a bad place to sleep. Spent most of our time on the balcony enjoying the quiet and beautiful view. Can walk to anything, just a small town. Fridge- no microwave. Had pool and hot tub, but saw no one in it. Breakfast was granola bar if you want. There's a couple breakfast joints nearby. Was not disappointed. It was one of the cheaper hotels around with beachfront and view. Would atay again. Bonus, we got fireworks from the balcony. August.

Dirty, rude, Discriminated against service dog.

When we first arrived at this hotel, I attempted to check-in and the woman at the check-in desk was arguing rudely with a current guest who was asking for some money back as he described their room being horrendously dirty. The hotel refused stating their card had already been charged. However, I didn't want to base my opinion off of that interaction, but I should have used it as a warning. The rooms were atrocious. Broken lamps, dirty bathrooms, cobwebs and spiders in the corners, and the carpets were so dirty I didn't let my kids take their shoes off. I didn't even want to bathe them in the tub (which had a shower head that didn't work, water wouldn't even come out). Then to top it all off, I brought my service dog (I am a disabled veteran) and was asked to provide proof via paperwork and asked what my diagnosis was that required a service animal, both of which are illegal. Then I was forced to sign a piece of paper declaring my animal or they threatened to kick us out. According to reviews, the terrible service, rude staff and disgusting rooms were all a common occurrence. We will not be staying here again and this business will be reported to the state and attorney general for their behavior surrounding my service dog who is EXTREMELY well behaved and friendly. Don't stay here. It's not worth the time or $370/night they charge.
