Horrible Stay
The room was old and not in a good way. The mattress were as bad as I have ever slept on when I could sleep. the room would go from hot to freezing cold then back to hot all through the night. The bathroom if you can call it that was a converted closet that was so small that when you sat on the toilet you knees would touch the wall in front of you!!!!

Be cautious and safe
Originally had me and my friend in a room that did not lock. Then my friend had to go basically argue for us to get another room because “ all the rooms are booked” but thank the lord he finally said he would give us a beach front room that did lock and we could feel safe sleeping in. And the next day we were never told anything about another guest arriving so it was all a little sketchy just be safe.

Decent place in s beach miami
Prime location spot on Miami South Beach along Ocean Drive. With location and view of the ocean means you also are subject to the noise and environment that it also brings. Thankfully, everything pretty much settled down around midnight but started back up at five in the morning while the city prepares for their guests the next day. Building is art deco probably 100 years old I’m guessing and updates have been done, but there is definitely a funk smell that reminds me of a school gymnasium and a little bit of urine that you just can’t get out of the room. They have an air purifier on the wall and once you’re in there for about a half hour you don’t smell it. You only smell it every time you come and go. If you want a great view And location to the beach and the culture of South Beach, this is a wonderful place to stay and much more affordable than a lot of places along the way. Due to the age of the air conditioning unit, I was pretty much woken up every 3 to 5 minutes as it’s cycled. I’m not a light sleeper or a heavy sleeper so unless you drink a lot, and there’s a lot of alcohol available in the area, you may not sleep so well. I think if you’re a block off, you’re away from a lot of that Distraction. There is a huge amount of cultural food options, which is wonderful. Basically, after once you valet park your car, which I have no idea where it went and they wouldn’t tell us where it goes since they didn’t have an attached parking area. You just walk everywhere.

Enjoyable
Restaurant was good. Polite and fast service. Nice ocean view room was clean but bathroom is small, no vanity. Only soap, no body lotion or shower cap. Slept well. Beddigs were clean. Comfortable bed and pillows.

Seriously should be shut down for major renovati….
Roaches, bathroom not clean, towels not clean stained , bed box neat case , mattress zero comfort.. Overall extremely disappointing and certainly no recommendations to others .. Also hidden fees !!! The Invoice and the money processed don t match the booking..

Overall okay
The location was great, right across from the beach! Bed was comfortable enough, but the bathroom was extremely small. Like, there's a slight chunk out of the door so it can get past the toilet to close small. Overall it was fine- safe, clean, etc. A good no frills place to stay in South Beach.

A limpeza estava ótima, sendo que no segundo dia já nos ofereceram novas toalhas, equipe da limpeza muito simpática. Não que o quarto fosse antigo, mas falta moderniza-lo. No banheiro faltou espaço para podermos colocar as coisas do dia a dia. Estavamos em dois, mas o quarto podem até 4 pessoas, seria o caos. Apesar de estarmos no point da praia, não havia barulho dentro do quarto. Fomos andando pela calçada à beira mar até a Lincoln Rd, farmácias, lojas de conveniencia e restaurantes no caminho não faltaram.

Fun but loud
Our room was just off the stairway on the second level. It was very noisy as the restaurant/bar was right underneath us. We could also hear people walking outside as our room was street side. It was fun to be on the iconic Ocean Drive but we did not get much sleep. Definitely a party atmosphere which I was expecting. The bathroom was super small but still functional! Staff were courteous.

Not recommended
Staff were awesome! Rooms were terrible. Cockroaches in the room. Walls, doors and remote were sticky. Floor was dirty and sticky. Douve bedding was dirty, thank goodness there was a sheet on top and bottom of it! Tv was broken and if you turned up sound, speakers were busted and it rattled. No toilet paper holder in the bathroom.

Rooms were small but the hotel is older so that's understandable. Location is great, right on the beach. My problem was the very poor quality of the beds. Cheap, loud bed frame and I'm pretty certain we were sleeping on a box spring instead of a mattress. And it was wrapped in plastic....awful sleep
