Good place for overnight to catch an early flight

As the name says, this place is convenient and friendly, if a bit worn on the edges. Not easy to find as it's located on an alley parallel to the main street and there's no sign to help find it (even the front door has a different name on it). Best to arrange an airport pickup with the hotel for a modest charge (if you're coming from the airport, which we weren't). Our driver couldn't find it but when he called for directions, someone came out and met us on the main street and showed us the way. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even carrying our luggage up the stairs, and spoke English. The restaurant was out of many things on the menu but the meal we had was very good and we were happy not to have to go out and find a place to eat as it was late and we were tired and had an early flight. Our rooms were basic but clean and comfortable, not cramped like some similar places I've stayed, and the shower was hot. Other than airplanes taking off and landing, which is to be expected right by the airport, it was quiet and we were able to get a good night's sleep. They offered a free (pre-dawn) airport transfer, which we greatly appreciated. Overall we found this to be a convenient and friendly place to stay for a night near the airport and would recommend it as a good budget option.

basic hotel close to the airport

The hotel is located in a dark back alley that felt unsafe to walk around at night. We were first offered a room with windows that did not close, and air conditioning not working, but were moved to a better room after our request. Contrairely to the advertising, there was no TV, no rain shower, no safe in the room. Very basic amenities, but rooms were clean and service was good. As its name says, it is friendly and convenient.

this is a no frills hotel that is very close to Hanoi airport which is exactly what we wanted. Friendly staff....picked us up at airport promptly and gave us a return at 5:30 in AM......room as promised....clean basic room and king bed ....Walked about a block and have delicious PHO.

While not a 5* hotel, I would rank our stay here as excellent for our last night in Hanoi close to the airport. The staff were very helpful, we had a home cooked Vietnamese dinner, comfortable bed, clean room and free airport ride. All for under $26 for two, including food and three beers. I recommend this location for airport convenience not for things to do or the neighborhood.

The must-stay Hanoi airport hotel!

Great hotel airport! About a 10-15 minute walk from the airport if you don’t want to pay for a taxi or shuttle. A path leads from the airport to the sidewalk. There is a sign on the main road that leads to an alley behind. Very comfortable bed and pillow! Great customer service. I left too early to eat breakfast; however, it looked like a decent spread with fresh food. Can’t beat the price!

Perfect overnight stay

Are so glad we booked this place. After leaving Hà Long Bay we got dropped back into the old town around 5pm. It then took 1hr 20m to get to this hotel which is next to the airport. If we had stayed in the old town catching our flight the next day would have been close. Got to hotel around 6.30pm. Seems to be a family run kind of place. As soon as we dropped the bags in the room we came down and they happily made us beef and noodles along with spring rolls. Reasonable prices too. The room itself needed a little TLC. But the main thing was the air con worked well and with my earplugs in I slept like a baby. Next morning breakfast was cooked fresh and then offered a free ride to the airport. What's not to like.
