Disappointing Experience with this Best Western

I stay at a lot of Best Western hotels and have always had a great experience. However, that was not the case here. We originally booked a room with 2 queens, but the toilet was broken in that room, so the one manager graciously moved us to a King Suite with a pullout couch. I appreciated that. However, our girls were absolutely miserable with how uncomfortable the pullout couch was. But the really bad experience came when our new room's refrigerator didn't work, so all of our food went bad and had to be thrown out. When I informed a different manager at the front desk at check out, there was another guest there who had the same refrigerator issue. We were told it was our fault for adjusting the temperature, even though I insisted that I never touched it. When I asked if there was anything the manager could do to make up for us losing all of our groceries, he said no, and only insisted on offering to take me back up to the room and show me what I did wrong with the refrigerator - which made no sense at all. I would really like to give this Best Western, but the way the manager who was working that Sunday morning acted, I'm not so sure.

Quick stopover

Reasonably clean hotel. Room was ok but TV didn’t work and the noise from the pool kept us up. The window was an interior window overlooking pool. So room was kind of dark with no natural light. We were only staying a night so it was ok but would not recommend longer stays.

Staying at the dump

It smelled so bad in the room. It smelled like dogs had been in the room. Thats was why the maid carries a can of febreeze. Scuffs and wall were everywhere. Desk clerk spoke very little english. Nibody told what was available in the building. Breakfast was a free for all. Filthy. Food sitting out without covers. Milk sitting in ice. No tongs for pancakes but they were cold anyway. Kids touching food and then putting it back. Never saw an attendant. People BBQing in parking lot. The grounds looked over grown. This place is horrible.

Run down rooms and bad food

Lobby looks nice, but the room was in poor condition (cracked sink, damaged bathroom door, under beds had layers of dust and trash, water damage on ceiling). The breakfast was not good either day. Staying two nights, we made a reservation for 4 people, they stocked the room for 3 people. Be careful grabbing luggage carts, only one wasn't broken. The beds were comfortable and most of the staff were nice, but I wouldnt recommend staying here.

Disgusting Room

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a hotel. I wish I would have spoke up to the front desk after checking in but it was late at night with only a few hours to catch some sleep. And we had spent the last few days packing and loading up our UHaul and were just too exhausted to try and change rooms. Upon walking into the room there was a large area on the carpet that looked like vomit, not just a stain, clearly something that was not even attempted to be cleaned as there was “chunks” visible. There was what appeared to be blood splattered all over the entryway of the room, the bathroom door, and bathroom wall. The sheets were not clean, either dirty sheets were used to make the bed or they simply made the bed with the sheets the previous person in that room had. We had a blanket with us we laid on top of the comforter to sleep on top of. The corners of the room had cobwebs so large I can’t imagine the last time the room was vacuumed. There was mold all around the bathtub and shower curtain. The bottom of the tub was missing large pieces of whatever material it’s made out of and the drain was broken. There was even a large tree branch in the chair, the least disgusting detail of the room, but it just shows they didn’t bother to clean at all. This room would be unacceptable for any cost, but for almost $200 a night is ridiculous! Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT get a room here.
