Frustrated: always stayed at Marriott never a poor experience until this one. Started with a noted request for feather free then when I called to confirm I was told that they saw the note but I didn’t call during the day to ensure it was done so it was an issue due to my late arrival and they could not fully accommodate my request. To add Insult to injury an item of mine went missing as I checked out very early I was told it would be noted but that I Need to call again in the daytime to ensure the day manager was informed. MOST disappointing part was I never received a single call I had to keep calling for updates and answers…. In which I was consistently told a manger was in a meeting or unavailable etc…. 12 hours later and MY third call I reached a manager who informed me this is uncommon but the housekeeping manager and team was gone for the day… he’d follow up the following day. Unfortunately I have higher expectations of a corporation the size of Marriott to acknowledge items stolen out of a room and a customer concern. A solid phone call to at least ensure it was being looked into… would have been appreciated. Customer service was not up to Marriott standards I’m used to, I frequent trips to this area I will no longer even entertain this hotel nor recommend.
