My first to Atlanta. I chose the place due to its close proximity to the MARTA subway, walking distance to the Varsity, and the fact that I could spot it from a distance away. I liked the fact it was also near major attractions like Fox Theater and The Margaret Mitchell House.

Outdated property, only consider as last resort

Outdated hotel with haphazard housekeeping, in a borderline location (convenient to North Avenue MARTA station, but with no nearby restaurants or shops). Single-pane windows let in outside neighborhood noise. No hairdryer in room, and housekeeping did not replenish supplies effectively. Hot water was barely available, only after running shower for 5 minutes to get to it (and never reached warm from bathroom sink).

Customer Service Needs improvement

Customer service was not up to par... if you called, they would put you on hold and never come back. If it would have happened once, it would have been okay, but you had to keep making repeat calls, and still didn't get any help. If you plan on eating breakfast, it's not complementary unless you sign up for it? I was not aware of this and was told i would have to $22.00 to eat.

This place is far from friendly. The front desk woman with short hair is so unprofessional. Popping her gum while talking to you, has an attitude for absolutely no reason, was not accommodating at all either. I booked a double queen size bed and when we asked for more towels they said only 2 were allowed per room. How ridiculous !! Nobody explain the parking situation as well ($50 per day). I will never go back to this place.
