I had my room book for 24-26 Aug, but i wasnt going to check in on 24th but 25th instead because i have a red eye flight that arrives boston on 25th early morning, i book 24th as well to make sure i have a room when i arrive early. I know i should inform the hotel in advanced. I found the hotel email address on the website and emailed at 3am on 24th to let the hotel know my situation and making sure they wont mark me as no show. However when I arrived they still marked me no show and sold my room already. And i told them i sent the email on 24th Aug already. But somehow they do not check the email listed on the website and even asked me “what is the email” (seriously?). So after i showed her my email she said they will expedite the room and will be ready in 45 mins. I waited and came back and she said room still not ready coz the guests just left and hasnt start cleaning yet. I was pissed, she said the manager said i only sent the email before i arrive the hotel (25th) so they r not responsible for not having the room ready. And i showed her the email again, which showed 3am 24 August 2019, she then showed the manager and came back and had a total change of attitude saying the manager misread the time. She promised the room will only take another 30mins. So finally i got my room after 30mins, and wow, she gave me key cards of someone elses room LOL. I literally went into someone elses room while they were in bed. Imagine anyone being me or this other guest LOL
