I`ve stayed in Radisson hotels in UK and EU for weeks in the last couple of years. I had a business trip in Hamburg and booked for two night, check in was OK. On the second day at 12 reception called me that I need to leave the room. I explained that I paid for two nights but the receptionist argued with me otherwise. By the time I went down , they realized their mistake and said that I had two separate bookings , which I don`t. No one apologized. I understand mistakes happen but I was sleeping at this time, preparing for night work, and I find waking me up to argue rather annoying! Would have been nice to double check was the customer has actually paid for before calling!

Check-in was great, staff was friendly but I would have expected a problem to be corrected right away or as soon as possible. I complained three times of the room (window between bedroom and bathroom) being dirty from the previous occupant. I was told that they were sorry and that they would clean it but it never happened. Same as other little issues. It felt like that everything was being blamed on COVID-19. I didn't run into issues like that in Berlin in July. Already booked a room for October but with a different hotel.

The hotel is close to Dammtor which makes it convenient for guests and getting around. Construction was fun to walk through and hearing them at dawn, which while obvious the hotel does not tell you about. Check in took way to long. We called for extra pillows and never received them. Only did I go down to reception and ask again for pillows that they brought them up an hour later. Covid hygiene policies were in place and fine.

Was meant to be a VIP stay wouldn't say there was anything VIP about it. Was a nice hotel and rooms were clean etc.

There was building work going on outside the hotel which causes a problem when booking in or out as not easy pulling your suitcases around, when at breakfast you have to stay at your sit and wait on staff to serve you, they leave food but no tea or coffee and never check had you got everything so was left with nothing to drink. Staff no very friendly.

Friendly and helpful staff. Outside has been a building site for well over a year already though, so access with luggage is more difficult than one would expect.

Likes: Great location, good views, very clean, close to nearby transport links, nice staff, good bar. Dislike: Nearby building works restricted access to one path and was a little unsettling at night! Air conditioning was not very good, room was very warm at night! Bathroom was clean and modern but just a bit small

Comfortable and good sized bedroom. V clean. Excellent views over the northern half of the Outer Alster and City, from the 22nd floor! Lifts are supper fast so the transit time is only a matter of seconds. Room let down a little by the fact sound proofing was not that good compared to other (newer?) hotels in the city. Could easily hear noisy next door neighbours and people traffic in the hallways. However the most disappointing fact was the very unexpected fact that the evening restaurant menu is incredibly basic and limited for this quality of hotel. The room service menu is however different and much better, but at a price. The breakfast is very good with a wide range available that should easily satisfy all but the fussiest of people.

Lovely hotel however it is coming up to two weeks now and my deposit of €50 (which you place upon arrival) still hasn’t been released!! You shouldn’t have to chase for your deposit to be released and if I hadn’t have checked my bank account I wouldn’t have known. It’s 2 weeks tomorrow since I checked out and according to the hotel they’ve notified their bank and informed me to get back in touch if I don’t receive anything by next Friday (nearly 3 weeks!!). Never had this problem before in any hotel and I’m shocked that it’s a Radisson that I’m having this problem with! Usually hotels don’t even take/hold any monies from your account upon arrival and just take your card details or a nominal amount. Not impressed!!
