All the staff were amazing, attentive and very helpful. Breakfast was wonderful The decor is dated paintwork and carpets. The window in the room is dirty

Great place! Would definitely go again. Overall, could do with a deeper clean in the room, but the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was nice, enjoyed having a bath! Wish I'd known in advance there was no lift though, as it was a struggle with such a large suitcase lol.

The rooms allocated were on the top floor. There is no lift and we are both in our 70s and disabled. The staff changed the rooms, but one was over the kitchen, and the other next to what appeared to be a 747 jet testing area. I had to ask to be moved again in the middle of the night.

All the staff were so professional and warm welcoming, everyone from the receptionist's, to the bar staff, cleaners and breakfast attendants. The hotel could do with a bit off a renovation for better bathroom facilities

Das Hotel ist ruhig und im Grünen gelegen, leider entsprach zumindest unser Familienzimmer nicht den Erwartungen, die das Haus von außen weckt. Unser Zimmer war ausreichend geräumig, aber lieblos eingerichtet und alles wirkte alt und abgewohnt. Besonders das Badezimmer und die undichten Fenster benötigen dringend eine Auffrischung bzw. Modernisierung. Das Haus ist weitläufig und verwinkelt, unser Zimmer lag in der obersten Etage - ohne Fahrstuhl. Das Personal auf nett und aufmerksam, wir bekamen sofort Hilfe mit unserem Gepäck. Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend. Parkplätze am Hotel sind vorhanden.

Hotel is in a very good location. An old manor house. The inside of the premises looked like it was refurbished but the outside is in need of TLC & a very good clean. The grounds are lovely. Our bedroom was good apart from tea cups that were not washed. Over all a very nice stay. Good breakfast with plenty of choices. Dinner was good too. Excellent staff with very good customer service. We will visit again if in the area.

Very enjoyable stay after a day’s cycling. Ate in the bar at night - food was fine but not outstanding - service excellent. Breakfast on the other hand was very good indeed. Hotel has a strange layout in that there are no lifts - to get to our room you had to go up approx 15 steps, walk along a corridor, then descend another staircase - very strange and not too welcoming after 4 hours on a bicycle !!

We had a great one night stay in the hotel and the room was excellent. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant. Our only disappointment was there was no 4G available and the WI-FI didn’t work in the bedroom.

We had a room on the 4th floor standard room, the curtains near the wall had mould on them. The bathroom was very retro in decor. pillows need replacing. Bed was fine. Overall outside looked nice.

We were checked in by the friendliest receptionist EVER! So helpful & really made us feel relaxed. The hotel is easy to park at & the rooms were a good size & peaceful.

The hotel was in a great location and look amazing, the staff were friendly and everything was going well, until we entered the room, the cleanliness was subpar to say the least, the bathroom was the worst, there was mildew and dirt that had been there for sometime as you can see from the pictures.
