The loft is surrounded by numerous interesting boutiques and is located above the Market House Cafe and Bake Shop. Cafe being open 7 am to 2 PM Tuesday through Saturday. Be sure to stop in for breakfast or lunch, and experience their fabulous house made breads, desserts, and fresh made foods. You will be glad you did.
A bustling area by day, but quite and sleepy by night.
Built in the late 1800s, the building was extensively remodeled from 2012 to 2014, keeping the old time charm , but enhancing comfort and beauty. A comfy queen size bed, fully equiped kitchen, modern shower, surrounded by the natural brick walls. Very large screen tv, DVD player and Net flix is available, along with wifi. The wifi code is listed in the loft booklet.
With sufficient notice, a kayak or canoe could be arranged for a gentle paddling on the Finley river which runs through the middle of town. Our city park is located on the banks of the Finley River, which is where a boat can be put in. There are lots of great rivers in the area, although they are typically slow moving, boat rentals are available.
Ozark is the County seat for Christian County.
It has seen emense growth in the last 10 years.
Located in the Ozark Mountains, The Mark Twain National Forest backs up to Ozark and surrounds the area.
Great local hiking is at the Busick state park just 8 miles south of Ozark. Beautiful wild flowers and creeks a great place for mushroom hunting and observing wildlife it's a relaxing getaway.
Ozark is 20 Miles north of Branson, and just 6 miles south of Springfield,
Appx. 70 miles from Eureka Springs , Ark.
