Very average hotel overall, on the positive side: the beds and bathroom were clean however our room had not been vacuumed for a while. Hotel is in walking distance to the beach and board walk also which is nice. The overall state of the hotel is rundown and not kept up well. Also, there is a $15/day parking for the hotel which was not disclosed when i booked this hotel. Overall i wouldn't stay here again.

This hotel is very dated. The put new counter tops in the bathroom. But the bathroom is so tiny the door doesn't even open all the way. It hits the toilet seat. There was mold in the corners of the bathroom walls. The beds were really soft. The smell of pot filled the hallway and into our bathroom every morning and evening. The price is very affordable but this hotel is old and dated.

The breakfast options were very limited it was sausage waffles and bagels and 2 choices of cereal! Tonya the manager there is great and very friend but their merchant put a $2000 hold on my bank account and screwed the first few days of my trip up there but Tonya made everything right and helped me get to the bottom of it! It had seemed like everyday the hotel itself was out of towels to shower with and the bathtubs and sinks didn’t really drain the water so you always had standing water! Also the ac units don’t work all that great here either especially on the days when it was over 100 degrees

Stay in newer hotel.

I would not recommend this hotel. It was very noisy, plus noisy bar with loud music late at night. After a 3 night stay you need to call front desk for room service/cleaning. Bathtub in one of our rooms was almost sunken in. Pillows were yellow and nasty. I would suggest spending a few more dollars for newer hotel closer to the beach.

Had to pay to park. My kids have allergies and we were unaware it was a pet hotel. Pets kept us up all night. Hallways smelled like pets and old stale air.

Good stay

Very friendly staff. Over all was a great stay. Pet friendly and no hidden fees or policies like I’ve experienced at other VA beach hotels. The room cleanliness could’ve had some improvements. The bed was comfortable and clean so that’s the most important thing for me

We were required to pay for daily parking in the hotel's private lot, we constantly had to get new room keys because our room keys stopped working, and breakfast was terrible.

Parking Fee

This property charges a $15 parking fee daily even for handicapped. That was not diclosed on Hotels.com Breakfast bar offered no fruit or yogurt. I am a Wyndham member not given anything at check in when I stated this. Room had a dangerous porcelain tub. Can I receive $15 in reward points to cover thr parking,?

Awful experience.

The first time we stayed at this hotel it was probably the nicest, most updated and modern, cleanest hotel I’ve ever seen. This time? The stairwells and hallways smelled of weed every single day. The hotel is getting rundown. There was build up dust in the room and mold and mildew in the shower. The toilet would barely flush. The tv was messed up. The walls are patched and furniture worn down. The plugs won’t hold a charger and half the plugs don’t work. We also had ants in our room. And the hotel had the nerve to charge me for smoking in the room. I don’t smoke nor vape. I have $800+ in smoking dees that they refuse to refund. I had to report fraud to my bank so they’ll go after the hotel for me. The elevators have seen much better days and the doors on them stick. All the light poles out front the line the area before the front doors were either knocked down, broken, or had wires hanging out of them. There was constantly trash all over the parking lot. 99.99% chance I will never stay here again. And can’t forget to mention the absurdity of charging $15 per day for parking, as a guest…
