5 star worthy hotel on a beautiful beach. Food was outstanding with a huge choice - recommend all inclusive as the prices were also 5 star! Best desserts ever had. Great tour guide on the beach and hotel water sports. Most seemed to travel through - we stayed 10 days. Will definitely be going back. Only tiny complaint was the pool bar staff were quite slow and not up to the standards as the rest of the hotel but not far to walk to get your own. Seemed short staffed with a few weddings and conferences on. Good for couples and kids. My son learnt to surf on the beach.

Booked a sea view room but could not see the ocean as lots of trees in front. Hotel was nice and nice staff. But breakfast was soooo noisy and not a nice way of starting your day. But food was nice. The seafood restaurant was also lovely but the italian place was not good and very slow service. But the area around the hotel was not nice and there was nothing to see or no shops. Just a super busy crazy street where you could hardly walk. No other restaurants in the area worth visiting - so felt a bit ‘trapped’ in a resort that was no different to Bali or Thaliand - except for the very nice Sri Lankan curries. Beach looked nice, but after a walk we came back with our feet covered in oil😱And it was very difficult to get it off. Apparently there are tourist boats outside that dump the oil in the ocean, horrible!

För ett 5-stjärnigt hotell förväntar man sig en hög och genomgående kvalitativ service, vilket tyvärr inte helt motsvarades under vår vistelse. Under städningen lämnades vårt rum osäkrat då dörren inte var ordentligt stängd av personalen. Detta är en allvarlig säkerhetsbrist. Händelsen rapporterades till hotellet, som bad om ursäkt men inte vidtog några konkreta åtgärder för att säkerställa att detta inte sker igen. Vi åt även på den italienska restaurangen, där maten tyvärr inte levde upp till förväntningarna – carbonaran var mycket torr. När det gäller dricksvatten serverades filtrerat vatten i hotellets egna flaskor. Vattnet hade en tydlig lukt av klor eller liknande, vilket gjorde att vi inte kände oss bekväma med att dricka det. Förseglade vattenflaskor erbjöds endast mot extra kostnad (cirka 800 rupees för 500 ml). I ett 5-stjärnigt hotell anser vi att tillgång till säkert och neutralt dricksvatten bör vara en självklar del av servicen, utan extra kostnad. Personalen var genomgående trevlig och anläggningen är mycket fin, men sammantaget motsvarade upplevelsen tyvärr inte prisnivån

We stayed 4 nights. Absolutely wonderful! Here you get a high-class hotel with a consistently high level. Very nice, well-renovated/built rooms with a high standard, wonderful hotel/pool area, walking distance to the wonderful beach where the hotel also offers sunbeds free of charge, well-stocked gym and much more. large breakfast buffet, both international and local. The service level is incredibly high where you want to give that little extra all the time. High professional service level on everything from cleaners, reception to bartender and the service staff who take care of the pool/towels. They usually know what you will ask for before you do it. such as wifi passwords to adapters to charge your mobile phone. We can highly recommend this luxury gem! 部屋が広くて清潔で快適でした。ウェルカムの飲み物とお菓子も、素敵に出してくれて嬉しかったです。滞在中、夜明けに出発しなければいけない日があったのですが、前もって朝食のお弁当を頼んでおいたら、愛情のこもったサンドイッチやデニッシュを準備してくれて、心が温かくなりました。チェックアウトの時は、お見送りの歌を歌ってくれて、ありがとうございました。

Outdoor space, with beautiful, lush garden, direct access to the beach and facilities (one of the largest, nicest pool we have ever seen) as well as the beautiful architecture of the main building easily justify a 5. The room would be 3 only, hence the 4 on average. The rooms are large and have largely kept their original style and furniture (a plus) but felt tired. The carpet on the floor was worn out with a dodgy large brown spot. The aircon couldn’t be adjusted. It was either very cold and noisy or no aircon at all. We had to go for no aircon which meant a musty atmosphere given the significant external humidity. One of the lamps was damaged. Staff generally nice and helpful. There was a wedding in the hotel for two of the three days. Manageable but quite noisy at times.

When I checked in I was told my room covers for 1 adult free breakfast this was a surprise to me as we are 1 adult and 14 yo snd 9 yo I had to pay extra 500 USD for 6 nights never going to book on Expedia again no transparency I felt tricked for this price! First night dinner in the hotel’s main restaurant my 9 year old had vegetable noodles and second morning spent it throwing up from food poisoning no compensation whatsoever from hotel! We started our holiday on a bad note for sure. Then 3rd day I used the lift and out of sudden power went out and lift dropped from 2nd floor to ground it was scary and painful dropped I’m thankful my kids escaped uninjured reported it to reception but no one seemed to care they just told me oh due to power shortage no apology nothing and then went to breakfast afterwards and server kept insisting in selecting my sitting area although restaurant is empty due to low season I was already shaken by the whole thing I just needed to sit down and breath! However the House keeping services were the best 5 star service I wish the rest mirrored their service. Overall hugely disappointed from my experience!

We had an amazing 2 day stay. Place was gorgeous, with 5 star rooms and service. Food was also great with more options than you could think of. If you’re looking for extra activities, there is a spa and a list of water activities to do at the beach or on the river. Definitely recommend
