I'm very particular and demand your full attention when being addressed, my Front Desk agent kept on walking away to assist other agents leaving me at times with questions on my lips. She denied me a fourth key eventho I had a 2 bedroom suite and we were 2 couples. The unit had a broken door to the closet and the AC filter was completely clogged with ?. Dishes were not properly cleaned and top of refrigerator was thick with dust! Lacked liguids in the toiletries dispensers in bathroom, was promised to have them filled, they are still lacking for the next guests.

The property is in very good condition. The room was very clean and spacious. Would definitely stay again.

Our room was covered with ants from our end tables next to the beds and also covering the light colored floors. And that is just what we could see. It was absolutely disgusting & smelled like a wet dog. When we asked for another room they told us all the rooms were like this and that the hotel has gotten worse lately.. Also we couldn't get anyone to come and clean the room or at least exchange the dirty towels for the clean ones and take our trash. We used to stay here every year and never had a problem until now. The hotel has gone downhill.

People were very nice. But, I feel corp. is trying to save money by not providing breakfast. Grab and go was a joke. My son has peanut allergy & I told them that. Many days bag had peanuts & peanut granola bars. He would not eat anything from bag. We picked this place in part due to reviews that breakfast was great. It is a wasteful water bottle that provides no nutrition, a muffin and a granola bar. No nutrition or care are put into bags. Hot water & coffee in lobby often empty. Had to ask to have refilled/not attended. We also felt uncomfortable having to go to desk to ask for towels & TP which should have been left in our room. Room was dirty & had some sort of juice stains on carpet & couch. I told front desk when we checked in.. When we left stain was still not addressed. I would understand if understaffed but, always several staff members around

good location, just 10 min from the boardwalk. The bathroom really needs to be cleaned better, terrible smell from the shower curtain.

The front desk staff was very kind. We arrived late at night. When we got to the room, it looked pretty clean. Unfortunately the air conditioner was leaking and the carpet was disgusting and wet. It also smelled musty. We won’t be staying again.

The bed and the finishes in the bedroom were nicely renovated a few years ago and have help up nicely. But the bones of this hotel are on life support. The probably 30 year old windows are still there, with fog between the broken seals of thermal panes, and the insect screen was off its hinges and hard to get in place. The air vented by the A/C in the room smelled like mold. The bathroom is very old and sad with awful lighting. The kitchens in the hotel rooms were not renovated when they renovated the bedrooms, so they do not match the design style of the rest of the room -- but the kitchens are very serviceable and have new dishwashers. The microwave oven's turntable did not spin on our room. The stairs and railing on the outside leading up to the units are rotting and dirty, The concrete paths are buckled and trip hazards. The pool was not working our entire 10-day stay and the frond desk said they could not give me a discount for the pool or the other issues because I did not book with Sonesta but booked with a 3rd party booking service. And the morning of our check-out, the water pipes feeding the whole hotel burst and so the entire hotel had no water. Sonesta executives should spend a night at this hotel and then they will realize that it is in sorry shape with too much deferred maintenance, and needs a huge infusion of capital to make this hotel nice again. But now, in my opinion, it is gross.
