We were disappointed that the air-conditioning system was really old and not working in our room, and that the windows were broken and would not open (even when the maintenance worker came to help, he had to remove the screens altogether to crack the windows at all). And no fan was available that night when we asked. So, the first night was rough for sleeping. Also, the room lacked a clock, a refrigerator, and coffee maker (basic hotel amenities). The only ice machine is on the basement level, inconvenient. The free breakfast area always had a line-up for the single serve coffee maker (a pre-made carafe of coffee and one of hot water for tea - would have greatly improved that experience). It would have been nice if we could have gone out on the terrace (but it was locked) or use the pool (but it was not open). So all-in-all we felt quite disappointed. The location, cleanliness, room size, and staff were all good. So it wasn't all bad, but if those issues all got addressed this could be a much better stay.
