This was the worst hotel I have ever experienced. Arrived at the airport - no shuttle. Many phone calls later I was told there wasn't one, I had an email telling me there was one. I had to take a taxi. The advertised on site restaurant no longer exists. The lobby - old, worn and dirty, very uninviting. Two elevators - one out of service, the other had old dirty carpet that had a bad odor. Hallway and room carpets - old dirty and stained. Vending machine had issues and not fully stocked. I walked into my room and it reeked of cigarette smoke - odor so strong I asked to be placed in another room. Missing room amenities - the shampoo, conditioner, soap etc. containers were empty, was told they didn't use those anymore but individual ones were available at the front desk. They do not supply Kleenex, coffee maker, paper cups or plastic glasses. There was only 1 set of towels, an ironing board but no iron, an ice machine but no ice bucket, one hanger in the closet, and the lights flickered off and on. There was a swimming pool but the water was an odd algae green color.
The woman at the front desk was wonderful. She was very kind and tried her best to deal with all the issues.
The hotel location is in an industrial area, no restaurants close by.
