First, the check in was awkward. There were three reps but there was no designated line so people were kind of confused on where to stand to wait as you are kind of in the main walkway of the hotel lobby. The employees were efficient/friendly.
The room. We had a resort view suite. It is comfortable but not as pictured, you could only walk out on half of it, the other half was small and oddly shaped/unuseable.
The room is large however there are some oddities, such as not one single drawer in the entire room, only shelf storage and a smallish closet. There is a kitchenette area with microwave, sink, refrigerator and coffee pot. There was no wine opener, wine glasses, utensils, plates, towels (paper or cloth) or even a trashcan. the friendly staff rectified some of the requested items.
The bedroom had a partial wall and then the other half has open slats to the bath vanity area…not great for privacy. the bathroom does not have a fan. And again, no drawers. There is a desk type thing with no drawers, a dresser would have been better idea.
Lastly, I need to comment on the Voyager 47 club, which was a huge disappointment. I wouldn’t recommend paying extra for this until the actual club is completed and hopefully that will be better. Right now it feels like an after thought. The staff is friendly but all seemed to be unfamiliar with the offerings. Food that should have been hot was cold, which was a safety concern for potential food poisoning. out of space so end of review
