My stay at El Beso El Faro Oceans resort was excellent the resort was beautiful the swim up bar was very nice. All the restaurants were centrally located and easy to get reservations at. Unfortunately the ocean wasnt accessible cause of seaweed, but thats to be expected in late June. All of the restaurants had very good selections to choose from and the food was good

An honest review

It was an amazing stay! I disconnected totally. It gave me great vibes. The staff was excellent. I had only a minor inconvenient which was we reserved a dinner in one restaurant, and the reserve was made to another one we already went; which is fine, both our fault (me and the resort staff) for not double-checking. Overall, very good, drinks on point, food on point. I would add croissant to the buffet hahaha. Very varied menu. A slow river which is so fun for kids and couples! Good experience.

Paid an additional $750 for a Rooftop Jr Suite. Jacuzzi didn’t work. I told staff on the first day, no response. Sent multiple messages on day 2, no response. Someone finally comes to repair it on day 3- but doesn’t fix it. It leaks all over the rooftop, doesn’t fill up, and only has one jet working that trickles down. Day 4 I ask if there’s any compensation that can be made, to which they offered a DISCOUNT at the spa- so more money to spend on my end. Day 5, my last night, they finally offer a room upgrade if I sign a waiver saying I won’t make a claim with Expedia.

Estuvimos 3 días y una noche. Es un hotel hermoso y buen cuidado. Pero tuvimos un inconveniente el aire nunca funcionó en esos 3 días Y algunos empleados lucían molestos a veces sobre todo un señor que estaba en el buffet el ‘ mercado’ haciendo los omelette, completamente fuera de lugar su actitud con nosotros a la hora de ofrecer el servicio.! This was our 10th visit to Ocean El Faro. The resort is beautiful, the rooms are clean and spacious. All the staff are friendly and hard-working and the food is great. Coming back to this resort feels like home.

Some of the staff were a little rude, one in particular while in line for a burger snapped on us for getting in line vs having him take our order. Mind you, the sign said “to go orders only” we were planning to take burgers back to the room so we thought we were in the right line/place. Felt very uncomfortable, we ended up just putting our plates back and walking out the line. Won’t be back there again

Entitle to an upgrade i never recieved it, Hotel lacks of consistent music and entertainment, when they do have music is pretty good. If your looking for a quiet hotel with some entertainment this is your hotel. If your more into party vibe with consistent fun they are other options out there

The property was ok. The rooms were dated. The elevated repeatedly broke down and we were on the top floor. The staff were extremely kind. The food was average. The family side was way more entertaining than the adult side. There were floats lying around the grounds giving it an unkept vibe. Overall 6/10.

We really enjoyed the rooftop patio, amazing having two bathrooms and 2 soaker tubs! Jose Jimenez was an amazing butler! He booked all of our reservations and went above and beyond to make my wife and I very comfortable. To improve on, eliminating people bringing their own music to the pool, having 3 different speakers playing music is annoying.

The restort was overall “okay”. The property needs fixing and updates. The floor is uneven and there are plumbing issues - the water would leak from the shower out to the bedroom. The toilet leaks as well. There was a cockroach the last day during the day. Dining options were a bit limited. Staff did not seem very knowledgeable about the property, we were told the restaurants were open daily but that was not the case. Some were closed two days. When we asked where to get the beach towels and tubes for the lazy river we were told they had to be purchased which was not the case, they only had to be checked out. It was evident that house keeping did not fully clean as the stand up shower was dirty.
