My only complaint was breakfast. They did not have any kind of breakfast, not even coffee. The mini keurig was in the room-that was it. A nice remodeled place to stay and I had to go out to grab a decent cup of coffee. If you want to bring the business clientele in, you had better up your game.

The hotel was clean and friendly. Although near many food outlets, my stay was covered with heavy rain. One down side was that breakfast was served in a bag, due to COVID, meaning that a lot was waisted and the ingredients were not as inviting or healthy as a traditional breakfast might have been.

Employees were EXTREMELY rude upon check in. Check in starts at 3pm however “due to COVID” the outside housekeeping company they hired sends 2 housekeepers and sometimes 1, meaning there limited to no rooms available directly at check in and “you can either wait however long (in our case 4 hours) or cancel” I found that unprofessional because canceling means paying at least one day AND trouble of finding/booking elsewhere. The employee refused to get her manager as well once I asked to discuss this inconvenience more with someone of authority. She said if I continued to question the late check in she’d refuse my service and cancel the reservation anyway. We were visiting with 3 small children from down south & none of it mattered. Save yourself the excuses and frustration & book Marriott, Hyatt or Hampton. We ended up leaving & reporting her (entire thing was video recorded) to IHG corporate. It wasn’t racist fuel either, she was a heavy African American woman with a horrible attitude and looked stressed and tired. Smh I expected better for Livonia MI but I also realized it was the hotel. We stay at Hyatt all the time and their service is top notch. This holiday inn is not unkept, clean and have horrible custom service

Just stayed for a couple of days to get out of the house and had a wonderful visit. The front desk staff was incredible and very hospitable. Will recommend to others to stay here if in the area.

This hotel was very nice. It was clean and well kept. Great location also. Very close to shopping and restaurants. I would definitely say again when I'm in the area.

Check-in went well. There was trash on the floor of the lobby but I fiugred she just hadn't seen it yet to pick it up. Get to my room and the remote doesn't work. 45 min later, she brings me a new remote. Annoying, but ok whatever. Go to the bathroom and find hair in the tub. But I was tired and didn't feel like packing and everything else looked clean so I said F it, it's ok. Sunday morning, I'm told at 8:30 am that all the to-go breakfasts are gone and despite advertising such, there's no coffee in the lobby. "Just use the Kuerig in your room". OK. But there's no regular coffee.. ugh. They bring me regular coffee and What do you know... the damn Keurig doesn't work. I call and the lady at the desk says "Ohhh you're in 421, that ones broken". From there the customer service went downhill. And when I checked out, the trash from the night before was still on the lobby floor.
