Decent overall hotel, and in an EXCELLENT location in Old City. It was one of the more affordable hotels in the area. The bartender was pretty bad. Forgot my drink, gave me the wrong sauce for my wings, talked excessively loud and complained about other bartenders and waitresses. It was awkward to listen to, especially considering my mom (who I brought with me) and I are both long-time bartenders/waitresses, so we were slightly offended at some of the things she talked about.
We only had some wings, and were okay. The hotel restaurant advertised "Sysco Ice Cream," which was weird and made me feel like their food was probably mediocre. Who advertises a restaurant supplier as the brand for their dessert?
Beds were comfortable and clean, but the pillows smelled like an old hat. We had a beautiful view of the Christ Church steeple. We could hear other hotel guests talk in the hallways and their rooms from inside our room, though.
We felt very safe in this hotel. You need a room card to even access the upper levels of the hotel, and I was happy with the valet, as it was a cheaper price than most of the others in the area.
