Won’t be our stop next time
I booked this hotel because it had an 8.2/10 rating. It probably deserves a 6.5/10.
The pros: The staff are friendly, breakfast was fairly nice (they had green tea as an alternative to coffee), being a pet friendly hotel it was really quiet and the bed was comfortable.
The cons: The bathroom was filthy. I just felt that I walked into someone else’s bathroom. The floor was sticky and full of hair. The toilet bowl had urine leaking down on it. The towels had hair on them. The hand soap smelled rancid so I used the body wash from the tub to wash my hands. The tub already started to peel.
In the room the USB chargers don’t work, the outlets on the lamp base are so flimsy that the charger worked in one position only. If we moved it a little bit it got disconnected right away. The fridge was working but there was water on the bottom.
The insulation of the room is so inefficient that the heating had to turn on every five minutes to keep the room warm. We were listening to the heater all night long instead of sleeping
