Great staff, needs updated
The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room, leaves a lot to be desired. Peeling wallpaper, stains in sink, nearly No hot water in sink but skin scalding in shower .. some stains on edges of the white comforter- looked like maybe something got spilled on corner.. Ms. Vicki became my favorite person while i visited! She was so sweet and helpful. Made sure to Invited me Down to the breakfast (that i knew they offered) but i wasn’t gonna go. I went It was lovely! Ice maker on 1 of 4 floors. . Pics of the peeling wallpaper right over bed..

People nice property not.
The room very dirty spiders in the bathtand orners had webx and spider feces on floor and walls. Variety of bugs seen and killed. Hair on floors. Reception and breakfast staff excellent and polite.

I booked for the convenient location near equidistant from downtown Watertown and Sackets Harbor. Check in was easy. Hotel feels a bit dated with dark hallways and 70’s era design in parts, yes, but that doesn’t affect my rating. I liked the hardwood/tiled floor in the room, yet was turned off by the sporadic hairs in the bathroom. Beds were fine, climate control worked fine. No blackout curtains, yet not an issue for me. Location was right next to a supermarket, so I could step out to get goods for dinner. My timing during the stay did not allow for the breakfast bar to be of use, so can’t comment on that. In short, it was a safe, quiet, easy-to-get to* location that could have used a bit more attentive cleaning in the bathroom. *TIP: During busy road hours, if you’re approaching the hotel going westward, wait at the traffic light to turn left into the parking lot of the supermarket. Use that to exit eastward around the bank and enter the hotel lot that way. During rush hour, this was less of a hassle than waiting for a direct left into the hotel lot.

Check in clerk was rude/seemed irritated for no reason. There was some random person standing there observing all the check-ins...Didn't know if they were an employee or guest. Stood watching and listening to everything (on the same side where th guests stand, not behind the counter). I have nothing to hide, but that was awkward. Strong smell of urine in the lobby area. Decor looks a lot like hell… Red walls with black accents, semi Satanic vibes. Lol In the actual room, mostly everything was clean, floor was very nice, thank god no carpets. Nice bed, comfortable, good sheets and pillows. Spacious king bed. Bathroom: I did see black mold in the shower, shower/toilet smelled very strongly of urine. Towels and washcloths smelled like they had been balled up and thrown in the corner, looked clean but did not smell clean. It was a quick overnight stay, I slept fine. Grabbed some scrambled eggs and a coffee on my way out, very average offerings. I probably would choose another hotel if I needed to stay in this area again.

Overall good stay.
Stay was good. Location good. Bed was comfy. Looks like some Reno’s were done at some point (no carpet in room) but the floors looked like they were not swept or vacuumed Did not like the not so nice anti slip rug in the bathtub though. Breakfast was basic but ok. They do not clean your room unless you have been there 3 days but provided extra stuff if needed. Not sure why but no ice machines working but again from desk will get you some. Overall a good stay

The front desk was attentive when there was a discrepancy in the booking. The breakfast was hot and gave us our morning protein. The bed and bath were generally clean and well laid out but the club chair in the room was thread bare and stained. It was really a piece of junk. How did it get that beat up and why even include it in the room? Take it out to the dumpster.
