In 35 years if business travel, within the hotel and entertainment business sector, i have NEVER had a more disrespectful front desk clerk at checkin. The first words out of my mouth were in regards to the parking situation for a larger vehicle. The front desk clerk said “Hand me your drivers license and credit card” then he didn’t say a single word, after several minutes of typing on his keyboard. Then he handed me my drivers license, credit card, and room key back saying “your room is over here, park in front.” Not a single word about the amenities, the restaurants, check out, other hotel services, and etc.
NOTHING.
When i confronted him about the parking situation that i stated within my initial conversation, he says “Yes, park in front of your room.”
BUT ONCE AGAIN, NOTHING ABOUT THE AMENITIES OF THE $200 A NIGHT HOTEL THAT I AM CHECKING INTO.
