Great views. Beautiful when the day tours are gone
We stayed in the Jagerhaus building and had a lovely room and gorgeous bathroom. It also included a wonderful view of the hohenschwangau castle. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was great with a nice view of Neuschwanstein castle. My only regret is that we only stayed one night and were too jetlagged to enjoy the spa and pool.

Absolutely stunning location with gorgeous view from outside our room. The spa was lovely and very picturesque. We didn't travel with kids but I note there was a specific kids splash time for kids to be able to enjoy the pool as loud as they want. Breakfast had an extensive selection which was lovely. We tried Bräustüberl both nights as Lisl was booked out and enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere both times. The only additional thing I would have liked was an ability to connect the TV to streaming services, though it was fun watching some German TV instead.

This was a gorgeous property and hotel in a picturesque setting. Breakfast was delicious and the hotel bar is nice. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the bathroom is so small. Perhaps this isn't the case in the better rooms - we took the basic room.

Fabulous Hôtel fabulous scenery
I came to see Ludwig’s castles but my stay was over the top due to my stay at the Ameron hotel. The location is amazing. Across from one castle and so close as can be to the castle on the mountain. The staff, especially Ilaria, were so helpful in planning my stay. The parking is easy and the town of Füssen less than 25 minutes away. It is wonderful to stay there and see the castles at night and in the early morning while you are having a very nice buffet breakfast. The room I had was very comfortable and efficient. Loved the wood floors. The heated towel rack is always a great benefit especially when you swim. I ate in the bar both nights and enjoyed it. I had a massage by Lea and wished I’d booked two of them. The pool is wonderful with a view. My room had a view of the lake Such a relaxing stay even though I was on the go both days. You can’t help relax when you enter the hotel.

Outdated & overpriced. No views No AC No elevator
Unlike their false ads, the room given to us had no views and was terribly outdated. We certainly did not expect the best views but at least wanted to open the window at a hot summer night. This hotel has no AC and we couldn't even open the window because pedestrians could easily see us through the windows. I called the reception for changing to another room to which they replied that we must pay over EUR 100 for an upgrade. No elevator made us lift the heavy suitcases. This is ridiculous since this area is all about hiking and sports where guests obviously bring heavier bags. Room felt and smelled like typical old hotel. Bathroom had the same low quality with yellow gold painted plastic covers. It easily flooded and shower head didn't work well. Ironically their reception looked much better. But be aware the rooms are truly disappointing! Only positive thing was the breakfast but it was only after all the unpleasant experiences. At the time of booking it was over EUR 300 for a night. Clearly overpriced and felt cheated.
