We had contact with Eleonora prior to arrival. As we were arriving later at night we were asked to message as we left the airport so that we could be greeted at the property.
The area around the property looks “run down” but the property is on the second floor of an apartment building which has lift access once you have gone up the stairs from the street.
The property has 4 rooms and our room was brightly coloured and we were shown where things were and how things worked.
There is a mini fridge with complimentary water and juice and coffee pods in the room.
The dining area is well equipped and you can use the crockery for lunch and dinner.
Fresh pastries are delivered each morning and there is yogurt, cereal, toast, pancakes, waffles, cheese and ham.
There is a table on a balcony too for Alfresco breakfast.
There is a supermarket within walking distance and a kebab/pizza shop Nextdoor.
Tuscolana train station is a 5 minute walk.
The Trevi Fountain is 3 miles away but there is so much to see if you walk.
We walked 18 miles in one day but covered most of the sites including the Trevi fountain, Colosseum, Spanish Steps and the Vatican.
We only had one whole day to explore but this lovely B&B was a home from home.
