Might as well sleep outside
No sound insulation so every sound outside will be perfectly audible from the comfort of your bed. First night: 2am wake up Second night: 3am wake up Third night: 2am, 4am - fire alarms going off. Anyone checking in and out in the night will be greeting you with sound of their suitcase over the balcony tiles like some kind of assault rifle going off. And the management of the hotel is awful. They don't really understand English so we spent some time explaining about the fire alarm etc and eventually we were given the compensation of a slice of bread and instant coffee in the lobby of the hotel. Not free breakfast or a discount on the rates. Just a slice of bread in the lobby. Take your money elsewhere, this place is a joke.

Near to Pratunum Market if you like a busy night scene. There are a few street food vendors around the corner selling reasonably priced food also. It’s approx 3km from the centre though. So Taxis and trains required if you need to go to the centre. Trains approx 70thb per person, taxis approx 250-300tbh.

We enjoyed our stay @ True Siam Rangnam Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Rooms are clean, the beds comfortable & air conditioning works well. A wonderful breakfast was included daily. There is a rooftop pool on site. Walking distance to great shopping, & restaurants . Easy to get transportation if required. Beautiful park across the street. We will stay there again!!

Excellent hotel, but it was a little hard to find. The wood architecture of this hotel is unique and an oasis among the modern brick and mortar hotels all around it. The room was cleaned and modern. We really enjoyed the breakfast each morning. I would recommend this hotel and will come back next time when we come to this area.
