No EV charging station
Information about Anchorage said EV charging was available but what was there was only an outdoor electrical outlet. This means one could plug in a trickle charger that takes two days to fully charge a vehicle. If I had not known about fast chargers in Kittery, the trip would have been unmanagable. Also access to the marginal way from the be property did not work for someone who needs an assistive device for mobility.

Though the amenities, restaurant, bar, lawn by the sea were wonderful, the room was extremely underwhelming. It seems all their profits are sunk into the common areas while the guest rooms are shabby and neglected. The bathroom had no counter space and a pretty horrible shower. The carpet is gross and the furnishings cheap. For what we paid we were very disappointed. I’m guessing the high price tag was for its location which really could not be better. It is right on Marginal Way, a few blocks from town center and the lawn has beautiful views of the ocean and coast. So location is fabulous; room was poor to mediocre.

Room smelled musty and almoat like pee. Pillows were damp and bed sheets were dirty. Rug had big stain not sure what it was. Hot tub had kids in it right up until 9 but rules say no kids. Only reason to stay was location.
