Roach motel

When we got to the hotel there were people in the parking lot making a fire in a grill, a person falling due to having one to many drinks and to top it off in the room was a dead roach in the bathtub, one crawling down the wall and one on the table. We immediate left and did not stay! And we did not receive a refund!

I had this odd feeling I needed to look at the room before I brought my stuff up. Needless to say I was right. The room was infested with roaches. I went back down and told the guy and his response was “we know we had floor four and two exterminated today” so they just skipped floor 1 and 3? That makes sense. I asked for my money back and went else where. Pretty bad when the front desk clerk says please don’t leave us a bad review about the roaches.

So we had a reservation through Expedia called the day before to confirm when we showed up at the property all of a sudden our room wasn't available they tried to switch us to a different room which was half the size of the suite that we booked for the same price then did not want to do a refund for the money I had already spent they wanted me to leave when will close the books today will do your refund absolutely not you will process my refund before I leave this property it took them an hour and a half to figure out how to do it this place is horrible do not stay here

Am I Expected to Spend the Night with Roaches?

We chose to stay at this hotel because the proximity to a concert venue. We checked in before the concert, went in and put our bags down. I changed into my boots and we left. When we returned, we saw a German cockroach on the kitchenette counter as soon as we walked in. Then we saw a roach in the bathroom. I walked between the two beds and saw two more roaches. Looked around and kept finding baby roaches. We decided that we would leave because we do not want to bring roaches back to our house and I would not be able to sleep knowing roaches are all around me. I then picked up my shoes from earlier, when I picked it up, there was a roach on the bottom of it. I threw it down and two more roaches crawled out. I tried to call the front desk and no one answered. I called several times. I also called Hotels.com and they would not refund me. I have also tried to call the hotel this morning and no one will answer the phone.
