Staff very helpful and polite and were prompt to check out window in our room which was broken. As window could not be closed, they brought in a convection heater which heated the room instantly. Overall a good overnight stay.

Didnt give the umpression it was so far from beach and harbour,no advice on what bus we could catch into the centre and as we were in the attic ,5 flights of stairs to climb,as im 75 and awaiting a new hip found this very difficult

Friendly, welcoming staff. Car parking near. Good size room. Clean sheets & linen, old bed. Shower needs an upgrade. Continental breakfast generous. The rooms are above a busy bar…… although I stayed on a Friday night, I wasn’t kept awake, but that may be a problem for light sleepers. Fair value

A few parking spaces on the side of the pub if you're lucky to get a spot, if not there's street parking around the pub. Quick check in at the bar, was shown to my room upstairs, and all info given then. Room was an ok size, shower room was small. Furniture old and work as was the decor A big moldy ceiling tile above the shower Bed has a little creaky and springy mattress. Wifi excellent Shower ok not overly powerful No food service but close to lots of restaurants. Breakfast included but it's a small Continental. Pub atmosphere, lots of banter, pool table and darts on offer. Location about a 5 min walk to the beach and town centre. Great staff. Decor really lets it down and the mattress!! .

The location was not too far from beach, the staff were friendly enough the bed was clean & toilet but the room was grubby & looked dirty it needed decorating the whole upstairs needed a makeover, you had to make your own breakfast & that was just toast, or cereal make your own tea even the breakfast room was grubby looking, On top of the stairs you had a fridge you can put your on milk & stuff in a shelf with extra tea/coffee/sugar & boxes of cereal what’s that all about? We did try find somewhere else but everywhere was booked. Charge to much never stay there again we left a day early this is definitely a one star if that
