This is a good standard hotel, which normally represents very hood value for money.

shayne, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Check in was quick and the room was adequate for a one night stay. It has a very small TV with only local programming. Finding parking is not eas, but there was a great restaurant very close.
Shannon, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Staff were welcoming and friendly. They gave good recommendations.
Shawn, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Hotel was well situated for visitors. Close to tram and hop on hop off bus! Pubs, coffee places, good food all close by!
Judith, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

This hotel was clean and conveniently located. However, the toilet didn’t flush properly and we ( .. and clearly many previous visitors…..). had to remove the cistern lid to manually access the flush lever.
John, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Good property and is close enough to walk to Dublin centre and Guinness factory. Older hotel but comfortable and staff are friendly.
Neil, 1-night trip

Mid week trip to Dublin

Trip to Dublin. Close to Phoenix Park and Heuston train station. Lovely hotel. Great staff. Great location.
Patrick, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

I liked the hotel. Be aware of the street noise. There are only single pane windows. I was only able to sleep by using ear plugs.
Lars, 9-night trip

4/10 Fair

Bathroom had been updated and was great. Location is ideal, just a couple of blocks from Heuston station. This was the best deal I could get close to the station and, though it wasn’t cheap, you get what you pay for.

Very disappointing accommodations. Lack of air conditioning was a problem in July. My shower stall was tiny and the folding shower door would not close fully. Very noisy street so when the windows were open for some relief from lack of air conditioning I was not able sleep. One positive of the hotel was the 5 minute walk to the tram.

come on lads! We're rootin' for ya!

Very well located. Very nice staff. You get what you pay for but for these prices they could invest in a little nicer interior and make people happy. It did the job. I would stay again in that, well, everywhere in Ireland is overpriced. If only they would go out and have a look at standards in decent countries. This is old school. It is so easy just to invest a little and the world will be a better place. Don't give up Ireland. You can do it!!
Trevor, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Felt that the hotel was good in most aspects. Simple things like toilet tissue was cheap quality and could have done with more tea and coffee, and there were no biscuits.
Michael G, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The Phoenix Park Hotel was a good option for a resonable price, decent locarion, there were options for dining around the corner and is walking distance to many of the Dublin attractions. The staff was very nice and helpful. No AC in the rooms but not unusual for the area. Bathrooms seem to have been recently remodeled.
Janet, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Our room was tiny. It barely fit the 2 twin beds. When I was walking through the halls I saw other 2 twin bed rooms and they had soooo much more room. I don’t understand why I’m paying the same price for a 2 twin bed room and I get a way smaller room. Staff were very nice. Just a little bit salty that my room was a fraction of the size of the other rooms in the same hotel.
