Lovely hotel

Really nice hotel set in beautiful grounds. Very comfortable and good sized room. All the staff I encountered during my stay were helpful and friendly. Food was lovely as well. All in all a very nice few days. Booked in again for my next business trip to Derby. Would definitely recommend to others.

Great Stay

We booked this stay spontaneously Sunday morning and by 1pm Sunday we were being shown to our room. The hotel was clean and the views surrounding the hotel are lovely. The only issue we had was our long wait for food in the evening, but when we had nothing else to do but go to bed we didn’t mind too much. The breakfast in the morning which was included was one of the best we have had at a hotel. Made even better by being able to sit outside and take in the views.

We stayed overnight with friends. Food and drinks are lovely, very tasty and well priced. Rooms feel dated, light fixture was full of cobwebs, bed was incredibly uncomfortable and cheap and we were awoken at 7am by workmen outside the window drilling and hammering.

A very enjoyable one night stay. We had booked a junior suite but asked to swap rooms to a different type, with a golf view. The receptionist was happy to oblige and all was sorted swiftly. We were so pleased with our decision as the view down the eighteenth hole and across the surrounding countryside was fabulous.
