Our hosts at this hotel made this three day stay wonderful! You couldn't ask for better. Whatever the request, question or need - they attempted to fulfill. If you are looking for modern, don't bother. If you are looking for historical, this is it! You get a great night's sleep in a quiet part of the city, (even though it is within walking distance of everything) you are fed well in the morning, and greeted with a smile and genuine interest in your day when you return. If we have a chance to return to Italy, this will be one of our stops.

Stayed for 5 nights in May 2024 and had a wonderful time. The property owners are very kind and helpful. Rooms are basic but very comfortable and clean, the shower was terrific. Friendly and helpful owners who explained exactly where and when to go see the sights. Only a 20min saunter into the centre of Florence with air conditioning and a yummy breakfast! Only thing to note is not suitable for those that struggle with stairs as on the second floor.
