Someone broke into my room in midnight while I was sleeping, stole my cash. AND I’M NOT THE FIRST AND ONLY BURGLARY CASE. I didn’t find out until I check the google review after. I found out that the room door were not closed properly unless you pushed it hard, though it appeared to be closed, which could be how the burglar entered my room. I told the staff but she thinks it’s not a problem at all. What’s worse is that the hotel management and staff DID NOT offer any help or assistance. They refused to call the police, and I had to ask for a room change and later an early check out and refund, all handled by myself, they DID NOT send any staff to help even I Requested over the phone. Throughout the whole process I had to call them every time I asked for anything. And til now they DID NOT offer any compensation, which has been over a month.
There’s serious security problem and the hotel staff and management are not professional. There have been quite a number of similar burglary happened during the last 12months however I couldn’t see them doing anything to rectify the issue. There’s no staff at the front desk (except maybe just an hour in the afternoon when they come to sort out the key card and other supplies), although you need to enter the passcode at the entrance, I doubt if they ever change it. There’s no other locks at the room door, just the key card system, and it looks like the burglar is very familiar with the place.
