The room appeared decent upon arrival, but we were shocked to discover that a bed had clearly not been changed and had a huge, disgusting looking spot that conjured some very troubling concerns about what body fluids it contained. Our kids were already asleep in the other bed when this was found, and it required multiple trips to the front desk in my pajamas to get all of the bedding needed to feel minimally okay about sleeping in the bed after replacing the sheets and pillow cases myself. We were offered another room but didn't want to move sleeping children, and the only compensation offered was 1,000 pts on my IHG account, which I later learned amounts to 1/16th of a single night's stay. Definitely not sufficient reimbursement for this experience, which creeped us out at the end of a long, exhausting day of travel and put the cleanliness of the entire room into question.
