Desk clerk was excellent gave detailed instructions how to get into Munich and also scheduled a taxi for the morning to the airport. He was very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English.

Everything was wonderful. Just don’t forget there is no AC. We were definitely taken by surprise. Luckily it started raining and temperatures dropped. We opened the window and we were able to be more comfortable.

Check-in war sehr freundlich, Frühstück war sehr gut,man wurde persönlich gefragt ob man ein gekochtes Ei haben mag oder frische Rühreier (Manch großes Hotel könnte sich eine Scheibe davon abschneiden)Der Check-out war auch sehr herzlich!Da hat man das Gefühl wirklich willkommen zu sein!

The hotel was great however they state “airport shuttle” on their website without mentioning anything of a cost. We get down the street to the airport and tip the guy and he proceeds to throw our money on the ground and demand a payment of €40. Mind you, it is a very short drive to the airport and we had no cash.

We thought this property was fantastic. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a restaurant available and the food was delicious. There’s also a beautiful park just a walk away. The hotel was close to the airport, but there was no airport noise. Thank you for an excellent stay.

Quiet and comfortable airport stay, great service

Stayed in the family room. Had a king size bed in one room with nightstands and desk. Outer room had entrance, bathroom, two twin beds, desk, wardrobe, and also our requested crib. Good size for a European hotel. Bedding material and comfort was top notch. Super supportive, no dips or sagging at all, nice quality linens and pillows. Feels new. Attached restaurant is great. Very friendly staff. Good German beer house comfort food and beers. feels like the locals home here as their daily beer hang out. Location is rural/small agricultural town and feels very safe. Many airport travelers stay here and it is wonderful for that. It is very quiet and peaceful. no noise at all. Breakfast is buffet in the basement offering breads, cold meats, cheese, lox, yogurt, and local honey and jams. Eggs made to order. Staff is incredibly kind. He even came outside to help show me where the privacy cover on my rental station wagon is stored and helped me install it. It seemed like many of the other guests have great conversations and rapport with the staff as well. Highly recommend for a MUC airport stay!

Komme wegen der Küche nochmals….

War auf der Durchreise und habe das Hotel eigentlich nur gebucht weil ich von der sehr, sehr guten Küche gehört habe. Leider ist am Montag Ruhetag 😩. Das Zimmer ist mehr wie in einer Privat Person aber für eine Nacht ganz in Ordnung. Das Personal war Superfreundlich, Frühstücken konnte ich nicht da mei. Flug um 06:00 ging……

We had to stay at Hotel Alter Wirt at the last minute due to flight delays, and the staff was very accommodating with checking us in and doing some laundry. Additionally, the morning breakfast had the best eggs and coffee we had during our trip to Germany.

Very nice room. I had a late arrival and the property instructions were spot on. Comfortable bed and the room was so nice and clean. I would definitely stay and recommend again.
