Great city! We were pleasantly surprised that visiting Lincoln's Tomb and Lincoln's Mansion were free tours! It wasn't expensive to pay for the Lincoln Museum, and it was highly worth it. The guides were very informative. A great visit overall!

We only stayed overnight, but for our first time here we were impressed by all of the historical attractions, especially the ones related to Abraham Lincoln. Would like to come back to see more when we have more time.

The Lincoln Museum is outstanding. We have visited several Presidential Libraries and this one is the very best, even better than Ronald Reagan's, if you can believe that.

We loved Springfield. Lincoln's Home was interesting. People were friendly. We felt safe.
"Great place to stay....just down the road from my son and his families home. Mom and I traveled to Springfield to meet our granddaughter. We stayed 6 nights and then I came back for another 4 days 2 weeks later. I stayed again. The beds were very comfortable, the staff were very friendly and the breakfast (included) was great! I would recommend Comfort Suites near Route 66 to anyone wanting to stay overnight during traveling or if Springfield, IL as your destination, this would be a good place to stay. Thank you for your hospitality!"
