Derry is such a surprise - so much history we didn't know about. We came because of the show Derry Girls and the Free Derry Museum but learned SO much from our tour of the medieval walled city.

We loved walking around in Derry and learning more about the history. The ''walled city'' is beautiful and not so touristy as other destinations in Ireland.

The history is interesting. We did a Troubles tour that started in the museum that was a 10 minute walk.
"Impeccable little hotel. We were there on a heat wave the first day, and our room lacked central a/c, but there was a portable unit and a fan.
The restaurant was outstanding, unusual for a hotel restaurant."
