Great location on beachfront

Barefoot Caye was a good location for our one night stay. We appreciated that it was a 5min walk from the Ferry and on the beach front side. It is a short walk to the Split and part of a lively part of the Island. The hotel is smaller, the room was ok. The mattress could be better, it was definitely sinking into the middle. Loved that it had a balcony and a water bottle filter in the room. The front desk and staff were super kind.

Bugs in shower.

Large gaps around the door/frame allowed bugs and humidity to get into the room. Woke up on last night to find beetle like bugs in the shower. Not sure if they came up the drain or from somewhere else. The shower head was so rusted and old that it broke apart from the water pressure. Won't go back.

Adrianna was the best ever! She works the front desk and was so welcoming, told us all about the island, local spots as well as tourist spots! Hotel was clean, ac was top notch, spot was perfect, not far from either end of the island.

Perfect landing spot for your Belize trip.

Great hotel. Great people. Great location. I was very satisfied. Basic items for continental breakfast so go out for a wonderful breakfast in Caye Caulker.

They go above and beyond

Barefoot is a great place to stay and easily one of the best hotels on the island. Ivan was spectacular and helped us with a taxi when we arrived. It is 100% a island vibe and super close to all the best spots on caye caulker. I would definitely return and suggest it to anyone coming to caye caulker

Traveled around the island and spent a couple nights in Caye caulker. The pool area was clean, roof top view and the view from our room overlooking the pool was great as well. The room itself wasnt fancy but it was clean and quiet. The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful with questions and directions or recommendations to places. Hotel was not too big about 4-5 floors total with a few rooms on each floor. Centrally located in town. Continental breakfast is only available for one hour, 8-9 am and has fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, coffee, and cinnamon rolls or toast. Would stay here again if we were to travel to Caye Caulker again!

Great location, excellent staff. I loved the filtered water in the room. Tub needs painting and maybe I would have gave 5 stars for cleanliness instead of 4. I would stay again for a night or two.

The property was in a convenient location. However, my ac unit was not working, we opted to not using it as the property was fully booked. The room was hot. Also, the room I paid for was the same price as my sister and her room was far better in terms of amenities such as kitchenette, living area and 2 rooms. My room had two beds in the same area, bathroom and a closet only. It was located to the front of the property where the main road is and it is not sound proof. The Outside noise was loud.

Barefoot is in a great spot - easy to walk for dining, water expeditions. you can walk to the ferry, we hired taxi (golf cart) on our return. it's inexpensive, $5 US dollars for two ($10 belizian). The restaurant across the street has great food, and a dog named Ozzie who I wanted to wrap up and take home with me. the staff is helpful. We went to Weezies on the south side of island for Yoga and a wonderful massage - beautiful spot. My friend went to Christmas mass at a local church. We had front room, good for people watching on our balcony, but keep door shut as chatter does not calm until around 11 ish, but there is air conditioning so you can shut the door. I would highly recommend. we will be back. Oh - and they serve a nice continental breakfast every morning.
