The Alelier is still a relatively new property and still feels new. The staff were outstanding. We've been to quite a few all inclusive/resorts and I'd put their staff at or near the top. It truly makes the experience special when you are made to feel comfortable. We stayed in an Inspira swim out suite and very much enjoyed it. The roof top pool was the best perk for us. The butler service was quite attentive and helpful. The food was quite good. We aren't overly picky and easily found something we enjoyed at all the restaurants. They had a live rock band one night, and another where they had a dance party where you'd wear headphones to hear the music. Ordinarily I'd say that wouldn't be something we'd enjoy but we went with it and had a blast. We were celebrating an anniversary so decided to splurge a bit beyond what we'd normally spend and we had zero complaints and would do it again.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!! My husband got food poisoning from them our 2nd to last night and they took no initiative to make it right-only to say they aren’t doctors and they have had no other complaints. Well we asked for the doctor to come to our room and guess what he said it was- food poisoning!!! Then we had to pay for the medicine/treatment. My husband spent the last day of our babymoon stuck in bed not eating, drinking. Couldn’t take advantage of the resort at all. On our way out after speaking with guest services you would think they would want to make it right-NOPE. They did nothing to make it right and once again didn’t take any accountability or even say SORRY this happened to you. I have been to Mexico 8 times and stayed at many other resorts and have never had any issues. We are absolutely NOT coming back after the way they treated us. What an immense disappointment!!

At ATELIER Playa Mujeres, we enjoyed a week-long stay with dinners at Cala Di Luna (Mediterranean), Los Abrazos Steakhouse, Takeshi, El Suspiro, and Cilento (our fave). Our experience surpassed common concerns about all-inclusive resorts, with outstanding food, drinks, and service. Pls ask about private dining options at Cilento and ask for Arturo & Octavio. This adults-only resort (16 years) is perfect for a couples' retreat. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with great 24-hour room service. Marcela at housekeeping kept our clean and stocked! The gym was clean and spacious, and we look forward to returning with our 18 yr old daughter.
