2 night stay on Northumberland
Good place for a 2 night stay. Single beds were very narrow for an adult. No towels or tea towels which would have been good. Service from the owner was brilliant...she is a very nice lady. It was a shame that the pub/restaurant has closed as you have to go in to Berwick for food.

The Plough on the Hill has got this so right!!!
Quite simply an amazing stay, the Plough on the Hill has got this so right. We traveled up Friday for a weekend stay, 2 Adults 3 Children. They have 6 static homes on their land, the views are great. We stayed in the Park Lane, there was so much space and well decorated. The Owners and staff were so attentive and welcoming. The pub & Restaurant on site provides great food, we will definitely be returning. Perfect for families, with Scottish Border, The Holy Island of Lindisfarne, Bamburgh & Alnwick Castle close by. Thank you.

Very friendly and comfortable
Just a quick word to say how happy we were with Sarah and her staff at the Plough on the Hill. Accommodation was fantastic. Clean and in excellent condition. A couple of miles from the beach with a fantastic gastro pub on site with great beers on tap!
Very friendly and helpful and couldn’t fault them.
Many thanks again x

Lovely Break
Had a great stay at this holiday accommodation. 5 Mobile homes set next to great pub in Northumberland countryside. Warmest of Welcomes from the owners before being shown around the Mobile home, small amounts of tea coffee and fresh milk supplied to get us on our way is a nice touch. We had a few teething problems but a simple text to Sarah saw the issues resolved quickly and efficiently (I still don't know how she managed to resolve the issues so quickly) and to find chocolates in the kitchen when we returned from our day out as apology was a great touch. The pub attached to the site is out of this world, great food, great drinks/cocktails and views over open Northumberland countryside and beyond (My daughter named the view the infinity field as it went on forever) so sit and enjoy the sunset. All major attractions (Alnwick Castle, Bamburgh Castle, Berwick, and my favourite Dunstanburgh Castle in easy reach) . My only minor want would be more equipment in the kitchen for cooking in as it wasn't really adequate for family of 4 but I am sure this will be taken on board and built up as the venture progresses. Thanks to Sarah and team for a warm welcome and pleasant stay.

A great find, fully recommend it
We took 3 kids, 6,5 and 3 month old and were really pleased with the place. Pub is newly refurbished and the menu was fantastic, drinks really good too. Views were amazing and there was a nice play park outside which the kids loved. We stayed in one of the 5 caravans on the site and they were really spacious, clean and well maintained. Only a couple of mile from A1 and Berwick on 5 minuted away, Holy Island about a 15 minute drive. Sarah and Rob were great hosts and welcomed our family. We’ll be going back very soon and fully recommend getting this place booked early as you won’t be disappointed!
