Best Weekend Away
The stay and service at the Goat and Goose Bed and Breakfast was one of the best weekend aways my partner and I have had. The rooms are charming and comfortable, and the attention and kindness of the owner is something you won’t find even in a 5 star hotel. The hot breakfast cooked right next to you are delicious a filling. Could not recommend this place enough for your next getaway to Lakes Entrance

Herzlichen Dank für einen tollen Aufenthalt, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Das Haus ist individuell und persönlich ausgestattet, sehr gemütlich. Das Haus bzw. unser Zimmer gefiel uns besser als auf den Fotos. Man kann zu Fuß nach Lakes Entrance laufen, auch wenn wir beim nächsten Mal vermutlich das Auto nehmen würden. Alles in allem: Klare Empfehlung!

We had a lovely stay for one night at the goat and goose,out host met us on arrival.we stayed in the penthouse,which was so spacious very quirky and clean space,the seaview was amazing and the ambience was so relaxing.

We decided to book accommodation for our anniversary rather than camping...our host was very welcoming on our arrival and during our stay. Lovely room, with our own private balcony and a spa bath. Breakfast was included ( continental) or you could have a vegan cooked breakfast ( my husband did on our last morning and we got it as a gift for free, normally $15 extra) It's a very peaceful and tranquil spot. You won't be disappointed

Lovely location, waking up and going to sleep to the sound of the waves and trees will be missed. Very quiet and great attentive service with breakfast and any concerns or ideas of where to go with kids when weather is not great, even able to charge my EV. Room has a cute electric heater that looks like a fireplace, fridge, spa, glasses, mugs, plates for small meals, night light in bathroom and parking space next to the room. Lovely family feel with pictures of family around the place including in the room. Improvements needed: floor boards broken so need to know which to not stand on, decking is a little wobbly which is concerning with children out there, if you don’t like shower/baths don’t request the romance room but lovely to bathe overlooking the forest/sea, bathroom is only suitable for one person and light takes a little to turn on, decore needs a bit fixing/updating/cleaning, driveway is connecting two/three other houses so is difficult waiting for others to use the same single road/driveway. Everything is drivable to not walkable to (up the mountain on edge of lakes entrance), communal kitchen is the owners kitchen so not really communal. Will visit again and would recommend this place for a nights stay or two. Lovely.
