Lovely town with lots of activities. I only had one day in Salento and it deserves three or more. Lots of hills and no taxis so be prepared to do a lot of walking.

At the moment the road to cocora valley is closed to car traffic therefore you need to walk down until the jeep are awaiting for passenger. Still very well organized.

You can move from Pereira or Armenia around in buses and willies, we hired private transportation from Pereira to Salento for 80 dlls!! Since there were no cars available to rent. We didn't know everything is so close and easy no move around.
"Movich was the absolute perfect stay! Very clean and comfortable rooms! The staff was extremely polite and always very helpful. Great room service with lots of food options in area and in the connecting mall."
"This property is beautiful newly remodeled with wonderful details. Staff is very nice and accommodating. It is located right on the main street in Salento: Calle Real. You have shopping and restaurants for several blocks. "
"If you're looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, the Finca Campestre Adelita hosted by Sonia and her incredible staff is an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived, Sonia made us feel right at home. Her warmth and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of our stay. It felt like we were visiting family rather than simply checking into a place.
Sonia and her team are the kind of hosts who go out of their way to ensure every guest feels comfortable and taken care of. They were attentive, checking in frequently to make sure we had everything we needed, but always in a relaxed, unobtrusive way. It’s rare to find such caring, genuine people in the hospitality industry!
The mornings were a true highlight, with a delicious breakfast made from fresh farm products. We had homemade jams, warm bread, and local fruits. You can tell that everything served was crafted with care and passion. Breakfast was not just food – It was an experience in themselves, connecting us to the land and the work that Sonia and her team do every day.
I highly recommend Finca Campestre Adelita for anyone looking to unwind, enjoy great food, and experience true hospitality. Sonia and her team are what really makes this place stand out, and I’m already planning my next visit with my family."
"We stayed here for just one night during our trip from Toronto to visit the breathtaking Valle de Cocora, and I wish we could have stayed longer! From the moment we arrived, Pablo and Marbella made us feel completely at home. They were warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay special.
The glamping experience was everything we hoped for – peaceful, secure, and surrounded by nature. The tent was cozy, clean, and perfectly set up for a restful night. We were served a delicious fresh dinner and breakfast, all thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious.
Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying coffee with a view was pure bliss. This place is a true gem and a perfect base to explore Valle de Cocora. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable experience. Thank you, Pablo and Marbella – we’ll definitely be back!"
