I wish I could have stayed more nights at South Central Guesthouse. This was easily one of the best guesthouses we stayed at during our trip to Iceland. The hosts were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and were always happy to help whenever we needed anything. Their hospitality made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The guesthouse was clean, comfortable, and had a warm, relaxing atmosphere that made it hard to leave. It was one of those places that genuinely made our trip even more enjoyable. If I visit Iceland again in the future, I will definitely stay here again without hesitation. A big thank you to the hosts for making our experience so memorable. I highly recommend South Central Guesthouse to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

Really nice guesthouse! We felt ourselves at home. Clean, big rooms, cosy common areas, good bathrooms. The kitchen is well-equipped. Nice location. We were lucky with the other guests as well, everyone was friendly and respectful. We enjoyed our stay, thank you! Would come back again!

This place was just what i needed to escape the crowds. Clean, quiet, great floor plan, plenty of shared space. Fully stocked kitchen had oil and spices, coffee and tea. Cute horses live next door. Hot tub was sublime. The bed was super comfy, hot shower. I cannot reccommend enough!!

Good location for the golden circle, relatively close to Selfoss, guesthouse clean and comfortable, good to be able to have use of a kitchen. Would stay again Only downsides was kitchen was missing oven trays and the kettle was temperamental as to whether it worked. Bed linens were also quite thin and seemed quite old

The host is a fantastic person. We were kind of lost, instead of the guesthouse we were at the apartments and fortunately we met the host at the apartments. She took us to the guesthouse - driving alongside us, provided us with food items and her daughter-in-law provided with list of place to see. Rooms were great. Best part was the cleanliness. We were provided with house slippers. There were 2 dogs that were friendly and greeted the visitors..fantastic and loved it a lot. Thanks!

We enjoyed our stay here! It was clean, had comfortable beds (although very lumpy pillows), spacious bathrooms and communal areas, great kitchen amenities, and was in such a peaceful setting! There was also a hot tub to use, which was perfect after a day of hiking! The only downside is that we had noisy people in the room beside us, and the walls weren’t too soundproof, but overall this was minor considering all of the positives of this stay!
